Company history
- 1971
- January - Sanwa Ltd. is founded.
- 1985
- August – The Tachikawa factory is completed.
(the functioning body of the company relocates to the Tachikawa factory). - 1986
- Pen tip manufacturing begins.
The first Japanese marker pen/pen tip manufacturing machine is developed and produced.
As a result of this, large scale production becomes a possibility.
After this, along with establishment of the new Tachikawa factory, the company begins to produce pen NIBS.
